About Chef
Meet your chef! Thee Chef J. Officially known as Tiffany “Tip” Jester; Chef J officially launched Thee Chef J in April of 2020. This young woman is no stranger when it comes to the kitchen.
Born on the west coast, chef was raised by her parents along with her older sister in Georgia. Cooking has always been a family tradition. Her grandmother Hattie Mae Jester was known for her southern cuisine in Griffin, Ga. And her mom currently owns her own catering service as well.
Chef J began to take a strong interest in culinary while attending Savannah State University. “I remember I would make plates in college and sell them. Sometimes we’d get burned out on the cafeteria food and wanted more food options but couldn’t afford it. So, I began making affordable meals” stated Chef.
In 2011, chef began working in the food & beverage department for the Courtyard Marriott in Buckhead, Ga. It was there that she realized she had a talent for cooking. From there, she has helped develop “Chef Week” as a career pathway for a schools in Henry County. Chef J has always been passionate about education just as much as she is about food and nutrition.
Along with launching her own business, Chef J served under the Captain Planet Foundation as a Project Coordinator which helped provide nutritional gardens for the youth in Henry County Schools.
Chef J opened her first takeout restaurant in 2021 in Rex, Ga. We are currently expanding as a business and look forward to delivering Foodgasms on a broader spectrum. Stay tuned for more!
Thank you for your love and support! Don’t forget to be Great Today!
